Fact or Opinion?

We have been learning about the difference between a fact and an opinion. Sometimes it’s tricky to tell the difference but there are clues we can look for.

If the statement is true and it can be proved, then it’s a fact. Often, a fact will contain dates, numbers or some type of data.

If, on the other hand, the statement contains judgement words such as believe, think, better or worse, then we’re probably dealing with an opinion.

So, would you be able to tell the difference between a fact and an opinion? Click here to go to Binky’s quiz. You’ll be an expert on facts and opinions in no time!
