Getting into Phonics

This week we started our daily phonics lessons. In each lesson, we spend the first 15 minutes drilling our target phoneme – blending, segmenting, fast read and fast write, followed by sentences and camera words. After that, we break up into our groups and complete activities to practise what we have learned. It is a very fast-paced lesson and we have to pay attention so that we can keep up!
